Frequently, as I look out of the window early in the morning, I see this frail elderly man. In most weather conditions, he walks in a hunched and slow manner. Always, his dog is on a lead and close to him. I wondered where he went.
Eventually, I saw him on the large mown grass field. He had let his dog sniff and stroll.
I was touched by the fact that, generally, he leads his dog on the way to the park. When he is tired, his dog leads him back. I see a relationship of mutual trust, loyalty and companionship.
