We Great Danes, Stellar and Venus, see she’s got the pointy thing. It goes in then she pulls it out, in, out, in, out. She gets the sharp thing. It goes snip, snip. We come for a pat. She puts the pointy thing under the cloth. Venus sniffs the cloth. She says ugh. She goes to get a wet brush and she wipes off Venus’s drool.
Me-That garment in the shop is a quarter of the original price. Why? Missing buttons, hem undone, too long, torn stitches, shabby etc. Buy it and repair/wash it at home. If necessary use a local repairer. I sewed the long curly cord back on to the red lace dress. About a metre/yard of it had been pulled off. No one will know you repaired a garment unless you’re me and tell everyone!
