We Great Danes see she’s been tearing up that silver stuff again. Then he gets the sharp thing out and cuts. She puts some of that chocolatey stuff on each silver bit. It all goes in a big bag. Then she puts it in the cold thing. None for us. Now she cuts up lots of vegetables. She adds some to a big round pan. She stirs it with stringy stuff. It smells of ginger and garlic. Then she puts some in little glass pots. Into the cold thing it goes too. There’s another bottle with some porridge, nuts and fruit from breakfast in it. Who’s that for? Is it our helping? I hope she doesn’t put our lunch in the cold thing. I’m hungry. Now we smell coconut and spices all with cauliflower, onions, lime and some of our chopped vegetables. I’m confused.
Me-The chocolate and coffee roulades are sliced when slightly frozen, wrapped and returned to the freezer. Some of a simple Chow Mein stir fry lunch plus breakfast porridge is placed in bottles and put in the freezer for a toddler. The other chopped vegetables make the dog’s lunch and by adding spices including coriander, chilli and turmeric with cauliflower, they become a Keralan vegetable curry too.
